TREATMENT OPTIONS

• ACCUZYME Papain-Urea Debriding Ointment
• ALLCLENZ® Wound Cleanser

INTERVENTION

1. Clean the wound with AllClenz Wound Cleanser or saline. Avoid cleaning with hydrogen peroxide solution as it may inactivate the papain.
2. Apply 1/8" Accuzyme to the eschar or slough
3. Cover with gauze or dressing of choice and change once per day

• Upon application with ACCUZYME, a small percentage of patients may experience a brief stinging sensation.

Note: Crosshatching thick eschar may be necessary.
