| Healthpoint’s Surgical Division was launched in April 2000 to introduce TRISEPTIN®, the first brush-free surgical scrub. TRISEPTIN utilizes patented Trizenol® technology which represents a “fast acting and persistent topical antiseptic platform technology” used to create a line of fast acting, broad spectrum and persistent healthcare antiseptic products. The line of products includes brush-free scrubs, patient pre-operative skin preparations and patient pre-operative body wash.
In 2005, the Surgical Division expanded its offerings to include prescriptive anesthetics with the launch of ExactacainTM (benzocaine 14%, butamben 2%, tetracaine hydrochloride 2%) spray, a topical metered dose anesthetic spray indicated for the production of anesthesia of all accessible mucous membranes except the eyes.

facilities to TRISEPTIN, created the category called “brush-free
surgical scrubs,” deployed a national direct sales organization,
and secured long-term purchasing contracts with many of the national
group purchasing organizations.
